We followed this recipe to a T and this soup tastes like spicy water. Nothing really goes together, and it’s very watery

This soup had a really nice flavor. All the ingredients go really well together, family loved it and so did I. Very filling so I snacked less at night. Great for leftovers too. I followed the recipe to the letter and it came out great.

Really enjoyed this soup, Used the veggies I had – carrot celery onion and squash. Used chicken broth. Found whole wheat cheese pasta at Costco – topped with some Parmesan – family loved it.

I love this soup, and I am making for the second time today!

I love this soup, and I am making for the second time today!

I love this soup. have made it several times and just add more seasoning and put the zucchini in before the ravioli. It lets the vegetables cook more and the ravioli only takes a minute or two.

This was really good. I used frozen broccoli instead of zucchini and tortellini instead of ravioli because they are what I had. Just for personal preference, next time I’ll use the petite diced tomatoes instead of the larger chunks. I also add my pepper right before consuming it (again, personal preference). I made this on a Sunday night and portioned it out for lunches for the week. Three days later and it’s still holding up well!

I also added a little cayenne because I want everything a little spicy but delicious and so easy!

This was so easy and really yummy! I used spinach and cheese ravioli and didn’t change the recipe. I thought it needed a little added salt and I think next time I will add more red pepper flakes too. It will be even better leftover. Very fast and easy for busy weeknight.

I made this delicious dish yesterday, I used chopped green peppers only, chopped onions,2 garlic cloves and i chopped my zucchini and sauteed it all together, i used diced tomatoes in a can instead of crush tomatoes, i used chicken broth and then i added my frozen raviolis, basil and crush pepper which gave it a twist! I thought maybe i wouldve had left overs lol but my family enjoyed it to the last bit.

will make this soup over and over again love it.

Loved it! I added a chopped up carrot and used cheese tortellini. Very delicious and easy!

Love this! Only change I made was 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes—added lots of zing. I will make this again using tortellini for a change. Used artichoke ravioli and it was excellent.

Very flavorful! I used tortellini because it was what I had. I also used fresh onions and red bell pepper. Instead of zucchini I used frozen broccoli. The soup was so delicious. It was easy and quick to put together. A hearty soup.

This is a good hearty soup. I sautéed fresh onions, peppers and garlic then added the zucchini to soften. I used all broth instead of adding the water and it was very flavorful and thick. Also added frozen peas and carrots. Will definitely make again.

I made this one Sunday after the holidays to bring to work for lunch. I’m not a fan of most “vegetable only” soups bc I’m always left wanting more, but the ravioli took the place of the meat and filled me up ALL day. I added carrots and celery but will skip the celery next time bc it overpowered the other flavors. I think I will use tortellini next time too bc the raviolis were so big and some fell apart while transporting/re-heating.

Very flavourful! A really good hearty meal in a bowl. I used 1/2 c of jarred roasted red bell peppers, 1/4 c of a sweet onion instead of the frozen mix. Picked fresh Cracked Black Pepper & Parmesan Ravioli at store and did not add pepper when making the soup. Did everything else as per recipe and used a mix of basil and marjoram. This was really good and very quick to prepare … I let it simmer for 30mins before serving. My husband gave this rave reviews and we added it to our list of favourites.

I made this but added mostly low sodium chicken broth instead of water. I also added a few extra tomatoes in addition to a can of fire roasted tomatoes. I boiled the zucchini and vegetables when I added the broth and water before adding the ravioli. I used store bought veggie ravioli from the refrigerated section at Aldis. To add more flavor, I added more salt and pepper and marjoram and basil to taste. In the end I felt like it was missing something so I also added some lemon juice which really made it pop. Delicious! Will definitely make again!

This was very good and quick! I was worried that there would not be a lot of flavor but I was proven wrong! I probably added a bit more red pepper and I did salt it. I used marjoram. It was delicious and I will be making it again. I used spinach and ricotta ravioli.

This was delicious! I didn’t have ravioli so I used tortellini. Will definitely make this again

Actually very good definatly a do over. Added a bit more red peper flakes nice bite mmmm

This has become my go to meal for busy nights. It’s fast, it’s easy, and I don’t have to beg the child to eat. We’ve tried several varieties of filled pasta with success. Served with a cheese topped baguette slice makes it seem indulgent. When the garden is overflowing with basil, I’ll add a little bit of fresh basil right at the end. Otherwise, this is a recipe that needs practically no adjustment.

I made homemade ravioli with light ricotta and grilled zucchini as a filling. This dish is a must have if you’re on a diet

Great soup! Full of flavor and very healthy.

I’m not a big fan of tomato-based soups, but this one was quite tasty. I had a 900ml carton of chicken broth, so I just used all of that instead of adding the water. I used fresh peppers and I used a leek that I needed to use up rather than an onion. I used roasted cauliflower ravioli from the supermarket. It was a hit with the whole family.

This soup is ALL the good!!!! Very filling, very delicious! The first time I made it, I thought it might be okay – and then I tasted it! KILLER!!!! I substitute 4 cups of water, with powdered chicken flavor bouillion, 1 tsp. per cup. I also use fresh pepper and onion, and add green beans. Thank you, Eating Well!!!

This was surprisingly good with almost no changes. I just added a small can of chopped fire roasted tomatoes and a bit of extra liquid. I also followed the advise of others and cooked the ravioli separately. I have leftovers for tomorrow and I will refrigerate the soup separately from the ravioli. Yummy and easy. Can’t wait for lunch tomorrow.

My only change was to add a bit of salt. This recipe is delicious! Will definitely make it again!

I am not a soup person and I loved this recipe. The whole family really enjoyed it, even the picky chef. Will absolutely make it again, but will probably use fresh onions and bell peppers. I used Butoni bell pepper/chicken ravioli. We did add about 1/4 teaspoon salt. Molto bene! Pros: Easy, yummy, quick

Delicious! I used sausage ravioli added another cup of broth and water. My family loved it.

I just made this and it is wonderful. I will definitely be making it again. It’s a cool rainy day in Texas and this hit the spot. Also had the tomato cheese toast with it.

I couldn’t find any dairy free ravioli, so i threw in some penne pasta asked cut up some chicken sausage from trader joes. I didn’t think it tasted quite tomatoy enough so i also added a can of tomato soup. It was a touch spicy for my kids but it was really really good. We will be making this for a long time.

Excellent Choice for Weight Loss DietThis is so easy, quick, and delicious! Today is a snowy day. I didn’t have zucchini at home, so I used fresh asparagus cut in 1 pieces. I added it near the end since they don’t need more than a few minutes. You can use any number of vegetables. I added asparagus the same time as the ravioli, but you can also boil ravioli separately and add the soup boil, so that they don’t get overcooked, especially during the reheating of the soup. Pros: Fast, tasty, filling, healthy, low-calorie!Cons: none

SO FAST! This recipe is so good, and it’s probably the quickest dinner I’ve ever made. I love the fact that we use frozen veggies and ravioli. It makes it so convenient and a great pantry recipe. I used half a cup more of the frozen veggies and 2 large zucchini instead of medium. So each serving size was a bit bigger than 2 cups but I don’t feel bad about it seeing as they’re veggies. It was so filling, so good and satisfying. The ravioli add just a touch of indulgence. DEFINITELY making this again and again. Pros: Delicious, vegetarian, fast, easy, filling, convenient

Quick and Good I made this while the cable guy was out installing my cable. It was ready right before he left, so it’s really quick & easy. I also made a special trip to the store to buy all of the ingredients and it cost me around $13, for four servings. Again, it could use some spice and seasoning, but it was good. Pros: Super fast prep, good way to get veggies. Cons: It’s a little bland. I will use more seasonings next time.

Delish! :-)I followed the directions and used Buttoni Chicken Tortellini. It was easy, fast, hearty and delicious, I will try cheese ravioli next time. I think adding other veggies would make it more of a minestroni soup, but would be a way good way to clean out the frige!Pros: Easy PeasyCons: NONE! 🙂

WOW!!!!! Super tasty, easy to make and it makes you feel cozy and welcome. Pros: This soup was surprisingly delicious! What a wonderful and super easy meal. My biggest surprise besides the awesome taste was how it was so satisfying to eat on a freezing cold day. Felt like home.

Very good recipe, I will make it again. Very easy and tasty. I have added more broth, vegetable and chicken, as I tought the tomato taste was too strong, more spices as well, basil and oregano. I’ve used three cheese tortellini and celery instead of zucchini. I’ve also added a big bunch of spinach right before serving. Wonderful!

A new fave – super easy, healthy, and a great base to customize with whatever is on hand. I used the buitoni whole wheat cheese tortellini and it held up well, even after reheating leftovers.

WILL BE A FALL CLASIC- So simple and straightforward to make. I followed the recipe, adding only 1 can of cannelli beans as the tortellini boiled. I also used fresh onion and red pepper as I already had it on hand. This is a great recipe and I highly recommend it- it took us all of one half hour from opening the ingredients to serving!

Im not a soup eater, but my family is. That being said everyone really liked this soup. I used fresh onions, extra garlic and about a teaspoon of salt. I didnt have fireroasted crushed tomatoes so I added about half of a can of fire roasted petite diced tomatoes. The whole wheat raviolis were yummy.

I thought this recipes was incredible. I followed the recipe exactly, but then while I waited for the flavors to meld together I went through the comments and added what I thought would be delicious. I ended up adding salt, oregano, parsley, carrots, marjoram, and a bay leaf. I also let it simmer for a lot (20 minutes) longer than the recipe called for. I usually do this because it helps the flavors come out. I also added the zucchini before I put the ravioli in because I originally was going to blend the veggies to make more of a cream soup, but I ended up just eating it with veggies chunks. I really enjoyed eating it this way, but my husband said he would have rather of had it blended. I think if the soup had been creameded it would have resembled normal ravioili’s and marinara sauce…thats really what the soup tasted like. Oh and I didn’t think the red peppers added too much heat, if anything I will add more next time I make this. I will be making this again!

Another winner recipe. One big thing I’ll change next time is using much smaller filled pasta(tortellini maybe) instead of larger ravioli. Instead of having 4 or 5 larger ravioli, I would have preferred to have some pasta in most bites. I also used fresh red pepper and onion since I don’t like green pepper and it can out tasty. Used chicken broth since I had some ready to use.

I’ve made this a couple of times and we think it is very good. Last night I decided to make it and didn’t have crushed tomatoes on hand. I opened a bottle of Prego spahetti sauce, added some sauted garlic and basil to our taste then followed the rest of the recipe. Turned out that our “in the pinch” substitution was wonderful. I noticed a comment from someone about the acid from the tomatoes. A small amount of sugar added to the broth helps. I start with 1/4 tsp. and only add more as needed.

I agree with Jenn D. about the peppers and onions. Dicing them was a chore, but the soup came out fantastic!! I found frozen peppers that came red/green/yellow so I just used that, no frozen onions, and loved it! Used meat ravioli, added some oregano, and used basil seasoned crushed tomatoes. I had my friend over to try it out and she loved it too! Really fills me up! Definitely will be enjoying the leftovers =)

I used fresh bell pepper and onion (one cup each) and cheese tortellini instead of ravioli. In step 1, I cooked the pepper and onion until soft before adding the garlic and crushed red pepper. My husband is a hard man to please, but he always likes this soup and thinks it’s good enough to serve company. I added salt to my portion.

This soup turned out wonderfully. I made it after coming home late from work and it could not be quicker. I also used fresh peppers and onion and served it with crusty bread. Mini raviolis would work well in the soup too, especially if serving to kids. The soup was even better the next day!
